Michelle Gibby
Michelle received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Weber State University, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Brigham Young University, and has worked and served in a variety of positions in the Education field. She has been an Elementary classroom teacher (Grades 1, 2, and 6), an Elementary literacy instructional coach, a school administrator, a Special Education LEA and 504 Coordinator at multiple schools, the Parent Organization President and Board Member of a charter school, and a Homeschool mom. She is married and has 4 children, with her youngest currently in High School. She is passionate about the cause of literacy for all, and a big proponent of the research and Science of Reading, as well as understanding and supporting children with differing abilities. She loves to work with students, parents, and community members in advancing these causes through the Rise Institute.
